World Record Elk
A world record elk can be seen on most hunting record sites along with pictures of the baby elk and elk farm locations.
These animals were killed by hunters and there survived only in regions west of the Rocky Mountains. Nowadays these animals are also found in mountain ranges in Utah. These are solitary animals as far as males are concerned while the females are always together with the young.

The animal is also called Cervus Canadensis and has become the official state animal in 1971. These animals were also called wapiti and the scientists of later times named the animal by early English colonists. The animals were once found over most of the United States and southern Canada.
