Elk Ranch
An elk ranch may be one of many participants in a program of conservation; hunting can ruin species.
Many years ago these animals provided food, clothing, bone implements, weapons, sources of spiritualism and items for decoration or trade for Native Americans. Nowadays the largest herds of these animals live in Yellowstone Park and in Washington’s Olympic Mountains.

Researching that have been made showed that the population of these animals is greater in summer whereas in winter months it is smaller. In winter they have food problems and because of this reason they are also prone to various diseases.
