If you buy exotic, you could keep it on a farm; be wary of hunting, however; post signs and fencing.
The body length of elks is about 10 feet; the tail is about 7 inches with the shoulder height of about 6 feet. They live at high elevations in semiopen forests and mountain meadows in summer. These huge animals live for about 18-22 years in the wild.

The coat of the animal is grayish-brown or dark gray though the legs are usually paler. The head is very large with a flattened mouth. Their hooves are spread apart; the back is strong and the neck is powerful; the dewlap of the skin hangs down.
