The Elk

The elk is a massive creature; a photo may dissuade you from hunting it. These mammals are cousins of the wapiti, a large North American Deer. In the wild these animals can be found on a small area near Buttonwillow in Kern County and Owens Valley, in Inyo County and Tupman. Naturally, they prefer to inhabit marshes, river bottoms, open plains, grasslands and sage brush scrub. The elk is a massive creature; a photo may dissuade you from hunting it.
